The active volcano, Mt. Redoubt in the Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska is currently errupting. I had the chance to photograph it this past summer from the cockpit of a C-130.

You can clearly see an active vent on the face. We were about a mile from the mountain and the smell of sulfur was overwhelming.

I  recently visited Devils Tower for the first time. Wow! The stone shoots skyward abruptly out of the forest. I can understand why the Native Americans have so much culture related to it.

The Diavolo Dance Company recently performed at the University of Wyoming and I was able to capture it in both video and still imagery.  The show was amazing and the dancers were phenomenal athletes who redefined, for me, what dance is. Needless to say, I really enjoyed the show. After the show the dancers answered audience questions and took the time to interact with the fans on a personal level, it was refreshing. They are truly a wonderful group of individuals.
